# Publish Content

`POST /v1/content/{content_id}/publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.theagentc.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.theagentc.io/v1/content/{content_id}/publish`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Publish a content item.

This endpoint:
1. Verifies the content belongs to the workspace
2. Calculates credit cost based on mode + content type
3. Checks if workspace has sufficient credits
4. Deducts credits and updates content status
5. Returns the updated content item

If credit deduction fails, the content status remains unchanged.

## Path parameters

- `content_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ContentPublishRequest: Request model for publishing content (triggers credit deduction).
  - `mode` string, required: Content creation mode: mode_1, mode_2, or mode_3
