# Report a tab error

`POST /poslink/v1/tabs/{tab_id}/errors`

Reports an error from the ePOS for a specific tab (e.g., table not found, bill already settled).
The server accepts the rejection and notifies the affected terminal so it can surface
the error to the operator.

- `tab_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- TabErrorRequest: Request to report an error on a tab
  - `terminal_id` string, required: The terminal reporting the error
  - `error_code` 'TABLE_NOT_FOUND' | 'BILL_ALREADY_SETTLED' | 'EPOS_ERROR' | 'REQUEST_REJECTED', required: Error code
  - `message` string, required: Human-readable error message

## Response `202`

Rejection accepted and forwarded to the terminal

- TabErrorResponse: Response after reporting a tab error
  - `tab_id` string, uuid: Tab identifier
  - `status` 'OPEN' | 'PAYING' | 'PAUSED' | 'COMPLETED' | 'CLOSED': Current tab status

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Lacks valid authentication credentials for the requested resource
- `403`: The server understands the request but refuses to authorize it
- `404`: Tab not found
- `408`: Request timeout
- `415`: Unsupported media type
- `429`: Too many requests in a given amount of time
- `500`: Internal Server Error
