# Create a group value

`POST /groups/values`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.textla.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.textla.com/v1/groups/values`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Find-or-creates one group value for the authenticated account. Matching is case-insensitive and an existing value is returned with its canonical casing. The required action_audit object records who and what initiated the change.

  - `action_audit` ValueActionAudit, required
    - `actor` string, required: User, API client, or system identifier that triggered the action
    - `reason` string: Optional explanation for the action
    - `source` string, required: Interface or system that initiated the action
  - `description` string: Optional description; an empty string clears it
  - `value` string, required: Reference-data value to create
