# Update a Data App Provider

`PUT /v1/dataapps/providers/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tetrascience.com`
- URL: `https://api.tetrascience.com/v1/dataapps/providers/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `ts-auth-token` and API key in header `x-org-slug`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `type` string: The type of provider. Must be a selection from provider templates.
  - `name` string: The unique name of this provider
  - `orgId` string: Deprecated and ignored. The organization is resolved from the authenticated org slug.
  - `iconUrl` string: The URL to the icon image
  - `secrets` object[]: The secrets to associate with this provider
    - `name` string
    - `value` string
    - `isExistingSecret` boolean

## Response `200`

OK

- `400`: Bad Request
- `503`: Service Unavailable
