# Create a new 'AutomationSource' entity

`POST /atm-source`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.testiny.io/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.testiny.io/api/v1/atm-source`

Creates a new 'AutomationSource' entity. Returns full entity with new id and (optional) creation metadata.

## Request body

- AutomationSource
  - `id` integer: The unique entity id - must be a positive integer
  - `project_id` integer: The project id this entity or mapping belongs to
  - `name` string: The name property
  - `display_name` string: Display name for automation source in user interface
  - `retention_days` number: The retention_days property

## Response `200`

Returns a single AutomationSource

- AutomationSource
  - `id` integer: The unique entity id - must be a positive integer

  - `name` string: The name property
  - `display_name` string: Display name for automation source in user interface
  - `retention_days` number: The retention_days property

## Other responses
