# Get available currencies

`GET /v1/currencies`

## Request

Retrieve list of all supported currencies (crypto and fiat). Each definition is identified by key, network, and provider, with its own decimal precision.

Successfully retrieved available currencies

- CurrenciesResponse
  - `data` object[], required: List of all supported currencies
    - `name` string, required: Display name for the currency (e.g., 'Circle USD')
    - `key` string, required: Currency code/key (e.g., 'USDC', 'USD')
    - `decimals` number, required: Number of decimal places for this key, network, and provider combination
    - `network` string, nullable, required: Blockchain network (e.g., 'POLYGON') or null for balances held off-chain. See GET /networks for supported values.
    - `provider` 'circle_mint' | 'kraken' | 'openfx' | 'capa' | 'zuba', nullable, required: Lowercase custody provider, or null for a network currency or default fiat definition. Account responses use uppercase provider values.
