# List system datasets

`GET /v1/system-datasets`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.terranode.co`
- URL: `https://api.terranode.co/v1/system-datasets`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns all pre-loaded system datasets (US states, counties, ZIP codes, census tracts, congressional districts, school districts, etc.).

## Response `200`

Array of system dataset summaries.

  - `datasetId` string, uuid, required
  - `slug` string
  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string
  - `summary` string
  - `version` integer, required
  - `status` 'pending' | 'processing' | 'ready' | 'error', required
  - `source` DatasetSource
    - `authority` string, required: Who published this data (e.g., "US Census Bureau").
    - `updateCycle` string: How often the source is updated (e.g., "annual").
    - `url` string: Source URL.
    - `license` string: License or terms.
  - `features` integer: Feature count (present when status is "ready").
  - `bbox` number[]: Bounding box [west, south, east, north].
  - `geometryType` string: GeoJSON geometry type (e.g., "Polygon", "MultiPolygon", "Point").

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `500`: Internal server error.
