# Delete document

`DELETE /knowledge-bases/documents/{documentId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.telvana.com`
- URL: `https://api.telvana.com/knowledge-bases/documents/{documentId}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Delete a document from a knowledge base. This removes the document from the database, S3 storage, and deletes its vector embeddings from Qdrant.

- `documentId` string, required
