# Estimate Export Cost

`GET /project/{project_id}/export/cost`

Estimate the token cost of rendering a project's timeline.

``start_time`` / ``end_time`` quote the export of that range only, as
``POST /project/{project_id}/export`` takes them (400 on the same ranges
it refuses). Past exports of other lengths say nothing about a range's
price, so a ranged quote comes from the pricing formula on the range's
length, which is what the export is charged, rather than from history.
``hdr`` quotes an HDR render (400 where the export would refuse it), also
from the formula: SDR history says nothing about its price.

## Query parameters

- `rendition` '480p' | '720p' | '1080p' | '4k', required: The rendition to estimate (for example, 1080p).
- `start_time` number, nullable: Timeline time, in seconds, the export starts at. Omit to start at the beginning of the timeline.
- `end_time` number, nullable: Timeline time, in seconds, the export ends at (excluded). Omit to end with the timeline; a time past its end stops there.
- `hdr` boolean: Quote an HDR export: it takes far longer to render than SDR and is priced for it.
