# Update Right Share Asset

Change the right for one share (SSE): set right to to_right for either group_id or email.
Caller must be able to share the asset; below ADMIN, only for shares no higher than their own
right and without can_share. If asset is a folder, applies to folder and underlying assets.

- ShareUpdateRightRequest: Change right for one share: provide exactly one of group_id or email, and to_right.
  - `to_right` string, required
  - `group_id` string, uuid, nullable

  - `can_share` boolean, nullable: Set whether the grantee may share the asset onward. Null keeps what the share has. Only an admin of the asset can turn it on.
