# Rebuild Asset Readers

`POST /admin/rebuild_asset_readers`

Fill ``ta_asset_reader`` again from the folder tree (SSE).

The table holds who can see each asset -- the owner of it or of a folder
above it, and everyone a grant on it or above it reaches, directly or
through a group's members (the Everyone group, which has none, is read
from its grants instead) -- and database triggers keep it current. Run
this once after the release that installs them, and whenever the table
may have drifted. Safe to run again. Admin only.

  - `apply_changes` boolean: When false, run every step in one transaction and roll it back: the counts are what a real run would do. Set true to keep them; each step then commits on its own.
