# Share Asset With Everyone

`PUT /admin/assets/{asset_id}/share_everyone`

Share a file or folder read-only with every user, or stop sharing it.

The grant goes to the Everyone group, which every user belongs to: the
asset shows up in their "Shared with me" (except its owner's) and, for a
folder, everything in it is reached too. It never lets anyone share
onward, and users cannot remove it or share with Everyone themselves. A
second call replaces the right.
