# Verify or lock a quote before payment

`POST /prebook`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tellandgo.com/api/v1/agent`
- URL: `https://api.tellandgo.com/api/v1/agent/prebook`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Live inventory verification step. Call this after quote selection and before
creating a booking/payment. Quotes that require final verification return
locked, while quotes without a prebook phase return `not_required`.

  - `quote_id` string, required: Quote ID returned by POST /quote.
