# Delete a stored file

`DELETE /v1/projects/{project_id}/files/{id}`

## Request

  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://telerivet.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://api.telerivet.com/oauth/token`)

Deletes this stored file.

 A stored file may only be deleted by the user who created it or by a project administrator, and may not be deleted while it is attached to an existing message.
