# Update organization settings

`POST /v1/organizations/{organization_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.telerivet.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://telerivet.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://api.telerivet.com/oauth/token`)

Saves any fields that have changed for this organization.

## Path parameters

- `organization_id` string, required

## Request body

  - `name` string: Name of the organization
  - `timezone_id` string: Billing quota time zone ID; see [List of tz database time zones Wikipedia article](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tz_database_time_zones).

Successful response

- Organization: Represents a Telerivet organization.
  - `id` string: ID of the organization
  - `name` string: Name of the organization
