# Look Up Scribe Session

`GET /v1/scribe-sessions/{id}`

## Request

Look up a scribe session by ID.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The session to look up — either your consultationInternalId, or the session id (ss_...) the API returns.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SessionScribeLookupResponse: Response body for session scribe lookup.
  - `id` string, required
  - `status` string, required
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, nullable
  - `completedAt` string, date-time, nullable
  - `patientName` string, nullable
  - `scribeSessionModality` string, nullable: The modality of the scribe session (e.g. 'IN_PERSON', 'TELEMEDICINE').
  - `consultationInternalId` string, nullable: The consultation ID provided by the API consumer.
  - `specialty` string, nullable: The medical specialty of the clinician who conducted the session.
  - `emrEncounterId` string, nullable: The EMR visit number the session is attached to (for MV, CD_ATENDIMENTO). Null when the session is not attached to a visit imported from the EMR.
  - `branch` SessionBranch: The institution branch (site) the session was recorded under.
    - `id` string, nullable: Branch id. Matches the `id` of `GET /v1/institutional/branches`. Null on older sessions that stored only the branch name.
    - `name` string, nullable: Branch name as stamped on the session when it was created.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request — invalid parameters, validation failures, or missing fields.
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Not Found — the requested resource does not exist.
- `428`: Precondition Required
- `503`: Service Unavailable — an external dependency is down.
