# List patients

`GET /v1/patients`

## Request

List patients visible to the authenticated caller, paginated.

## Query parameters

- `page` integer: Page number (1-based).
- `limit` integer: Number of items per page.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- PatientListResponse: Paginated list of patients.
  - `items` PatientResponse[], required: Page of patients.
    - `id` string, required: Stable public identifier.
    - `name` string, required
    - `idCountry` string, nullable
    - `idType` string, nullable
    - `idValue` string, nullable
    - `internalCode` string, nullable: Caller-provided internal code for your institution (null if none).
    - `createdAt` string, required: ISO-8601 timestamp when the patient was created.
  - `total` integer, nullable: Total patients matching the caller's scope (null on later pages).
  - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-based).
  - `limit` integer, required: Number of items per page.
  - `totalPages` integer, nullable: Total number of pages (null when the total is unknown).
  - `hasMore` boolean, required: Whether another page likely exists (accurate on every page).

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request — invalid parameters, validation failures, or missing fields.
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key.
- `503`: Service Unavailable — an external dependency is down.
