# Meter Usage

`POST /v1/discovery/meter`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.teetra.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.teetra.com/v1/discovery/meter`
- Auth: none declared

Report S2S direct-link usage against the bilateral metering ledger.

Usage is attributed only to the principal the presented credentials prove: a bearer
consumer token and/or a direct-link token (its ``sub`` was minted from an authenticated
resolve-direct). A body ``caller_id`` is never identity (REQ-404): a caller with no
credential is refused with 401, and credentials that name different principals are
refused with 403 rather than merged.

The metered target is what the direct-link token authorizes (WA-METER): its ``adapter_id``
and ``domain``. A bearer names no adapter, so a body target with no token is 403, and a
body ``adapter_id`` or ``domain`` that differs from the token's is 403, never used.
