Verify the signed referral and record the conversion (idempotent).

## Path parameters

- `adapter_id` string, required

## Request body

- ConvertRequest: The signed-referral fields (as the governor emits them) plus optional identity.
  - `sub` string, required: Consumer subject from the signed referral
  - `ts` integer, required: Referral timestamp from the signed referral
  - `sig` string, required: HMAC signature from the signed referral
  - `contact` string, nullable: Verified contact (e.g. email); hashed, never stored raw
  - `external_subject` string, nullable: Token subject to key the paying identity on (defaults to sub)
  - `trigger` string, nullable: Which trigger produced the referral
  - `seller_of_record` string: D12 path: builder_mor (Path A, default) or teetra_mor (Path B)
  - `api_key` string, nullable: Consumer's direct API key for upstream adapter
  - `bearer_token` string, nullable: Consumer's direct bearer token for upstream adapter
  - `upstream_secret` string, nullable: Consumer's upstream credential secret
  - `auth_type` string, nullable: Authentication type: api_key, bearer, custom_header
  - `key_id` string, nullable: Custom header name or key identifier
