# Update an incident's status

`PATCH /v1/admin/incidents/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://api.technooptimist.io`
- URL: `http://api.technooptimist.io/v1/admin/incidents/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

`in_progress` when work starts; `fixed` only after the fix is deployed and verified (with a one-sentence `summary` and `commitSha`); `not_a_bug` with the reason in `summary`. `needs_owner` is refused (422) except from to-autofix when locked out of an account.
