# Edit a comment you authored (body and attachments)

`PATCH /comments/{id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Author-scoped: another principal's comment is 404. Send any of `body`, `attachments` (public https URLs to add), `attachment_ids` (from /files/init + /files/commit with type comment_attachment) or `remove_attachment_ids`. The response carries `editedAt` and the current `attachments`.

Requires the `data:write` token scope.
