# Get a match's team rosters

`GET /game/matches/{matchId}/rosters`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://teambattles.gg/api/v1`
- URL: `https://teambattles.gg/api/v1/game/matches/{matchId}/rosters`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the creator and accepted team rosters for a match, validated to belong to the API key owner's approved game. Requires the game.lifecycle:read permission.

## Path parameters

- `matchId` string, required: Match ID.

## Response `200`

Team rosters grouped by creator and accepted team.

- GameMatchRostersResponse: Team rosters for a match, grouped by creator and accepted team.
  - `creatorTeamId` string, required: ID of the team that created the match.
  - `acceptedTeamId` string, nullable, required: ID of the team that accepted the match, or null if unaccepted.
  - `creatorRoster` GameRosterPlayer[], required: Players on the creator team.
    - `userId` string, required: Player's user ID.
    - `teamId` string, required: ID of the team the player belongs to.
    - `username` string, nullable, required: Player's username, or null if unset.
    - `name` string, nullable, required: Player's display name, or null if unset.
    - `isCheckedIn` boolean, required: Whether the player has checked in for the match.
  - `acceptedRoster` GameRosterPlayer[], required: Players on the accepted team (empty when unaccepted).
    - `userId` string, required: Player's user ID.
    - `teamId` string, required: ID of the team the player belongs to.
    - `username` string, nullable, required: Player's username, or null if unset.
    - `name` string, nullable, required: Player's display name, or null if unset.
    - `isCheckedIn` boolean, required: Whether the player has checked in for the match.
  - `timestamp` string, required: Server response time (ISO 8601).

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: API key lacks the required permission.
- `404`: Resource not found.
