# Get an x402 payment

`GET /x402/credit_account/payments/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2`
- URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2/x402/credit_account/payments/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a single x402 payment transaction by ID. The transaction must belong to the authenticated user; organization sub-users must have read permission on transactions. Returns 404 if the transaction does not exist or belongs to another user.

  - `data` X402TransactionRecord: An x402 payment transaction.
    - `id` string, uuid: Unique transaction identifier.
    - `record_type` 'x402_transaction'
    - `amount` string: The transaction amount in the specified currency.
    - `currency` string: The currency of the transaction amount (e.g. USD).
    - `status` 'settled': The settlement status of the transaction. x402 transactions are created after successful on-chain settlement, so the status is `settled`.
    - `quote_id` string: The original quote ID associated with this transaction.
    - `tx_hash` string, nullable: The on-chain transaction hash, if available.
    - `created_at` string, date-time: ISO 8601 timestamp when the transaction was created.
    - `updated_at` string, date-time: ISO 8601 timestamp when the transaction was last updated.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden — x402 payments not enabled or account tier ineligible
- `404`: Not found — the transaction does not exist or belongs to another user
