# Submit verification code

`POST /verified_numbers/{phone_number}/actions/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Submit the verification code received via the selected verification method to verify a phone number.

## Path parameters

- `phone_number` string, required: +E164 formatted phone number.

## Response `200`

Expected response to a valid request.

- VerifiedNumberResponseDataWrapper
  - `data` VerifiedNumberResponse
    - `phone_number` string
    - `record_type` 'verified_number': The possible verified numbers record types.
    - `verified_at` string
