# Update a traffic policy profile

`PATCH /traffic/policy/profiles/{id}`

## Request

Updates the specified traffic policy profile and returns the updated profile.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `type` 'whitelist' | 'blacklist' | 'throttling': The type of the traffic policy profile.
  - `services` string[]: Array of PCEF service IDs to include in the profile.
  - `ip_ranges` string[]: Array of IP ranges in CIDR notation.
  - `domains` string[]: Array of domain names.
  - `limit_bw_kbps` 512 | 1024 | null, nullable: Bandwidth limit in kbps. Must be 512 or 1024, or null to remove.
