# View a room participant.

`GET /room_participants/{room_participant_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2`
- URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2/room_participants/{room_participant_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the participant identified by `room_participant_id`, including its session, context, and join, update, and leave timestamps.

- `room_participant_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Get room participant response.

    - `id` string, uuid: A unique identifier for the room participant.
    - `session_id` string, uuid: Identify the room session that participant is part of.
    - `context` string: Context provided to the given participant through the client SDK
    - `joined_at` string, date-time: ISO 8601 timestamp when the participant joined the session.
    - `updated_at` string, date-time: ISO 8601 timestamp when the participant was updated.
    - `left_at` string, date-time: ISO 8601 timestamp when the participant left the session.
    - `record_type` string
