# Delete a specific assistant version

`DELETE /ai/assistants/{assistant_id}/versions/{version_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2`
- URL: `https://api.telnyx.com/v2/ai/assistants/{assistant_id}/versions/{version_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently removes a specific version of an assistant. Can not delete main version

## Path parameters

- `assistant_id` string, required
- `version_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Returns HTTP 204 No Content on successful deletion

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
