# Delete an email template

`DELETE /email_templates/{id}`

Deletes the account-owned template. The operation returns `204` with no body and prevents future sends or renders from using the deleted template ID.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Template deleted. Empty response body.

## Other responses

- `401` — Not authorized (10006).
- `404` — Resource not found (10001).
- `422` — Validation Failed (10015) or changeset validation error.
