# Delete a namespace

`DELETE /ai/memory/namespaces/{namespace}`

Delete a namespace and every profile and memory in it. `default` cannot be deleted. This cannot be undone.

## Path parameters

- `namespace` string, required — The namespace to delete. `default` cannot be deleted.

## Response `204`

The namespace was deleted

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — No such namespace
- `502` — Upstream error
