# Request To Join Organization

`POST /api/v1/organizations/{organization_id}/join-requests`

## Request

Ask to join an organization. The caller is no member, so there is
no CurrentOrg and no tenant stamp: existence is checked through the
app.organization_exists definer, and the insert itself is admitted by
the request_own_membership policy (migration 99) — exactly one row
shape, your own, status 'requested', the member role. The row grants
nothing until an owner approves.
