# List an MCP server's tools

`GET /api/v1/org-mcp-servers/{server_id}/tools`

## Request

A server's tools in name order, removed servers included, each with
its policy and whether the server still lists it. A full page means more
may exist.

## Path parameters

- `server_id` string, uuid, required: The server's id, as list_org_mcp_servers returns it.

## Query parameters

- `before_name` string, nullable: With before_id: the last tool of the previous page's name, to read the next page.
- `before_id` string, uuid, nullable: With the sort cursor: the last row of the previous page's id.
- `limit` integer: The most tools to return.

  - `tools` OrgMcpServerToolResponse[], required: The page of tools.
    - `id` string, uuid, required: The tool's id, the paging cursor's second half.
    - `name` string, required: The tool's name on the server.
    - `agent_tool_name` string, required: The name agents call the tool by.
    - `label` string, required: The tool's title for people to read.
    - `description` string, required: What the server says the tool does.
    - `read_only` boolean, required: Whether the server says it only reads.
    - `destructive` boolean, required: Whether it may change or delete data, unless the server says it doesn't.
    - `policy` 'allow' | 'ask' | 'deny', required
    - `first_seen_at` string, date-time, required: When the server first listed it.
    - `missing` boolean, required: Whether the server stopped listing it; it keeps its policy.

- `405`: Method not allowed
- `422`: Validation error
- `500`: Internal server error
