# Update Mcp Connection

`PATCH /api/v1/mcp-connections/{connection_id}`

Change a connection's tools: its member within their role, a holder of
member.manage only by unticking — power comes only from the member's
consent. The row stays locked from its read to the save, so no other
change is judged against tools this one replaces.

  - `new_tools` string[], required: Choosable tools teaflask added since its member last chose; they stay off until the member ticks them.
