# Submit Doc Draft

`POST /api/v1/doc-drafts`

## Request

Land a Markdown draft for review in the authenticated caller's organization.

## Request body

- SubmitDocDraftRequest: A title and Markdown body, with optional conversation provenance. Unknown fields are ignored (pydantic's default).
  - `thread_id` string, uuid, nullable
  - `title` string, required
  - `body_md` string, required

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- SubmitDocDraftResponse: The submitted draft and its review request. Submission never publishes.

  - `status` 'queued' | 'working' | 'ready_for_review' | 'approved' | 'dismissed' | 'failed' | 'unfunded', required

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: No such conversation
- `405`: Method not allowed
- `409`: The corpus refused the doc (cap, no free slug)
- `422`: The draft was rejected; the message lists every problem
- `500`: Internal server error
