# Mark Notification Read

`POST /api/autopilot/notifications/{notification_id}/read`

## Request

Stamp a notification as seen. 204 whether or not it was already read.

The store stamps with ``COALESCE``, so a second tap keeps the first timestamp
and still reports success — the client is telling us what the user did, not
asking us to transition a state machine, and a 409 on a double tap would be a
bug in the bell rather than information.
