# Get Transcription

`GET /v2/transcriptions/{transcription_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tavusapi.com`
- URL: `https://tavusapi.com/v2/transcriptions/{transcription_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

This endpoint returns a single transcription by its unique identifier.

## Path parameters

- `transcription_id` string, required

## Response `200`

- object
  - `transcription_id` string: A unique identifier for the transcription.
  - `file_url` string: The URL of the file that was transcribed.
  - `text` string: The transcribed text from the video.
  - `status` string: The status of the transcription.
  - `created_at` string: The date and time the transcription was created.
