# Get the custodial wallet address from the transaction

To start with the gas pump, use the [API for precalculating the gas pump addresses](#operation/PrecalculateGasPumpAddresses).**

**If you built your gas pump solution using the [API for generating a gas pump wallet address](#operation/GenerateCustodialWalletBatch) and [API for generating a custodial wallet address](#operation/GenerateCustodialWallet), you can still use this API for getting the custodial wallet address from the transaction. However, we recommend that you switch to the [API for precalculating the gas pump addresses](#operation/PrecalculateGasPumpAddresses)**.
