# Update the default notification template

`PUT /v4/subscription/template/default`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tatum.io`

- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

/v4/subscription/template/default

Update the default notification template for the current API key. Accepts `enriched`, `enriched_with_raw_data`, or a custom template ID. Custom template must exist. Deprecated `legacy` is also accepted.

## Request body

- SetDefaultNotificationTemplate
  - `templateId` string, required: A built-in template name or a custom template ID.

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized. Not valid or inactive subscription key present in the HTTP Header.
- `500`: Internal server error. There was an error on the server during the processing of the request.
