# Get popular tokens history

`GET /v4/data/tokens/popular/history`

/v4/data/tokens/popular/history

**150 credits per API call**

Returns the most popular tokens across the entire blockchain for a specified date in time and optional category. Popularity is determined by the token's number of active wallets during the specified calendar date.

Supported blockchains:

*   Ethereum - ethereum-mainnet
*   Base - base-mainnet

## Query parameters

- `chain` 'ethereum-mainnet' | 'base-mainnet', required: Chains supported by the tokens and wallets endpoints.
- `date` string, required
- `pagesize` number

OK

- ResponseArrayTrendingToken: Array response wrapper for trending tokens.
  - `data` TrendingToken[], required
    - `rank` integer: Position in the trending list (1 = most trending).
    - `name` string: Token name.
    - `tokenAddress` string: Token contract address (lowercased for EVM chains).
    - `symbol` string: Token symbol or ticker.
    - `chain` 'ethereum-mainnet' | 'base-mainnet': Chains supported by the tokens and wallets endpoints.
    - `type` string: Token type (e.g., fungible, nft, multitoken).
    - `fdv` number, double: Fully diluted valuation in USD.
    - `liquidity` number, double: Approximate on-chain liquidity in USD.
    - `priceUSD` number, double: Current price in USD.
    - `priceChanges` PriceChanges: Percentage price change (%) over each timeframe.
      - `5m` number: Change in the last 5 minutes.
      - `15m` number: Change in the last 15 minutes.
      - `1h` number: Change in the last hour.
      - `3h` number: Change in the last 3 hours.
      - `6h` number: Change in the last 6 hours.
      - `1d` number: Change in the last 24 hours.
    - `firstMint` string, date-time: ISO 8601 timestamp of the first mint seen for this token.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized. Not valid or inactive subscription key present in the HTTP Header.
- `403`: Forbidden. The request is authenticated, but it is not possible to perform the operation due to logical error or invalid permissions.
- `500`: Internal server error. There was an error on the server during the processing of the request.
