# Get Backtest Logs

`GET /backtests/{id}/logs`

## Request

Returns the step-by-step execution logs for the specified backtest, useful for understanding how trials were opened and closed during the run.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

The execution log for the backtest.

## Other responses

- `400`: Request included malformed input
- `401`: Unauthorized.
- `404`: Backtest not found
- `429`: Request rate exceeded reasonable thresholds. Back off exponentially before retrying.
