# Create or update a task's date

`POST /setTaskDate`

## Request

An omitted timezone defaults to the calling user's timezone.

  - `projectId` string, required: The project the task lives in
  - `taskId` string, required: The task ID (from `listTasks`)
  - `start` Date, required
    - `date` string, required: ISO date format (YYYY-MM-DD), e.g. "2021-12-31"
    - `time` string, nullable: Optional time component in 24-hour format (HH:MM:SS), e.g. "15:30:45". Can be null or omitted for date-only representations
    - `timezone` string, nullable: Optional timezone identifier (IANA timezone name), e.g. "America/New_York", "Asia/Singapore". Can be null or omitted for timezone-naive representations
  - `end` Date
    - `date` string, required: ISO date format (YYYY-MM-DD), e.g. "2021-12-31"
    - `time` string, nullable: Optional time component in 24-hour format (HH:MM:SS), e.g. "15:30:45". Can be null or omitted for date-only representations
    - `timezone` string, nullable: Optional timezone identifier (IANA timezone name), e.g. "America/New_York", "Asia/Singapore". Can be null or omitted for timezone-naive representations
