# Join the early-access waitlist

`POST /waitlist`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tasg.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://tasg.app/api/v1/waitlist`
- Auth: none required

Only when public sign-up is enabled. Idempotent; the response is identical whether or not the address was already on the list. The register page offers this when the instance has reached its signup cap.

## Response `200`

Joined.

  - `joined` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed: the body or query did not match the schema, or a business rule was violated. `error` says which.
- `403`: The waitlist is not open on this instance.
- `429`: Too many requests from this IP. Try again later.
