# Preview an invite

`GET /invites/{token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tasg.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://tasg.app/api/v1/invites/{token}`
- Auth: none required

No auth. Rate-limited (30/15 min per IP). Tells the client whether the invitee already has an account.

## Response `200`

    - `role` 'owner' | 'editor' | 'viewer', required
    - `project_name` string, required
    - `inviter_name` string, required
    - `is_new_user` boolean, required: `true` if no account exists for the email yet; the acceptor must supply `name`.

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found, or not visible to the caller (tenancy is enforced: foreign resources look identical to missing ones).
- `410`: Already used or expired.
- `429`: Too many lookups.
