# Refresh the access token

`POST /auth/refresh`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tasg.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://tasg.app/api/v1/auth/refresh`
- Auth: none required

Exchanges a refresh token for a new 15-minute access token. The refresh token itself is not rotated.

## Request body

  - `refreshToken` string, required

## Response `200`

New access token.

  - `token` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed: the body or query did not match the schema, or a business rule was violated. `error` says which.
- `401`: Invalid, expired or invalidated refresh token.
- `429`: Too many refreshes from this IP. Try again later.
