# File an entry summary

`POST /entries`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tarifflo.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://api.tarifflo.com/api/v2/entries`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Validates, writes and submits a whole entry summary. CBP's answer arrives as an `entry.disposition` webhook. A repeat of an Idempotency-Key answers the first result with `Idempotent-Replayed: true`.

Requires the API key scope `entries:write`.

  - `webhookUrl` string: Where the `entry.disposition` webhook goes; defaults to the key environment's URL.

## Response `201`

Filed and submitted to CBP

  - `entryNumber` number
  - `shortJobId` string, required
  - `status` 'AWAITING_CBP', required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input data
- `401`: Authorization not provided
- `403`: Insufficient access
- `409`: The first request with this Idempotency-Key is still filing
- `412`: No webhook URL for the key's environment
- `422`: The entry is not valid
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Submitting to CBP failed
