# Update a post draft

`PATCH /v1/posts/drafts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.taplio.com`
- URL: `https://api.taplio.com/v1/posts/drafts/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Both fields are optional and replace what they name: omit `content` to attach media without touching the text. The draft must still end up with text or media. A patch carrying neither field is refused with `required_one_of` on `body`; one that would empty the draft, such as `content: ""` on a draft with no media, with `invalid_value` on `body.content`. Both answer `400 validation_failed`.

- `400`: Validation failed.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
- `500`: Internal server error.
- `503`: Upstream unavailable.
