# Get a connection request

`GET /v1/connections/{username}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.taplio.com`
- URL: `https://api.taplio.com/v1/connections/{username}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The latest connection request this account queued for `username`, whatever became of it. `pending` while it waits in the send queue, `sent` once it left, `failed` or `cancelled` with the reason otherwise. LinkedIn treats an already-connected recipient and an invitation already pending as success, so both read as `sent`. A recipient this account never requested answers `404 connection_not_found`.
