# Get a comment draft

`GET /v1/comments/drafts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.taplio.com`
- URL: `https://api.taplio.com/v1/comments/drafts/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The draft doubles as the comment's status record for its whole life, so this is how a commit is followed: `draft` is still editable with nothing queued, `pending` is committed and waiting for its send slot with nothing on LinkedIn yet, `posted` is live with `comment_urn` set, and `failed` or `cancelled` are final, with `failure_reason` and `failure_code` saying why the comment never went out.

## Path parameters
