# Cancel a queued comment

`POST /v1/comments/drafts/{id}/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.taplio.com`
- URL: `https://api.taplio.com/v1/comments/drafts/{id}/cancel`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Cancels a committed comment that has not left the send queue yet, so it never reaches LinkedIn. The draft stays as the record, with `status: cancelled`, a `failure_reason` and a `failure_code`. Refused with `409 comment_not_cancellable` when the draft was never committed, was already posted, is in a final state, or is being sent; `reason` in the details says which. Never charges a credit.
