# Symbol and ISIN held on a date

`GET /v1/stocks/{symbol}/identifiers`

Which NSE symbol and ISIN a company carried on a date. `status` is `resolved`, `no_identifier_on_date` or `out_of_coverage`; `identifiers` holds, per identifier kind, the value, its state (`present`, or `uncertain` inside an unobserved bracket around a rename or ISIN change, where every plausible value is listed) and the observed range it held it. Pass the symbol the company trades as today; a date outside `meta.coverage` answers `out_of_coverage`, which is a coverage limit, not 'no identifiers'. - `503`: Authentication or quota service temporarily unavailable (`service_unavailable`). Not charged; retry after `Retry-After` seconds.
