# Trending stocks by signal

`GET /v1/market/trending`

Nifty 500 stocks that tripped a price signal in the current or latest session, in four buckets: `bullish` (day, 1-week or 2-week high breaks; above pivot resistance R1-R3), `bearish` (the matching low breaks; below support S1-S3), `near_52w_high` and `near_52w_low`. Each row carries LTP, absolute and % change, volume and the `signal` that put it in the bucket (e.g. `1_week_high_break`, `within_5pct_of_52w_low`). Each bucket shows up to 20 stocks; `bucket_totals` gives the full count. For ranked gainers, losers and most-active lists use `/v1/market/movers`.

OK. Costs one request unit.

## Other responses

- `404`: The symbol, index or document does not exist. Not charged.
- `429`: Per-minute burst cap (`rate_limited`) or plan quota (`quota_exhausted`) reached.
- `502`: A data dependency was unavailable. Not charged.
- `503`: Authentication or quota service temporarily unavailable (`service_unavailable`). Not charged; retry after `Retry-After` seconds.
